As usual great pictures but one word throughout the entire book???? We’re read it so many times that he actually reads the pages now as soon as I turn them. Adorable, vibrant, a storytime favorite. Now we have a little one of our own, and Hug was the first book I read to him. It is an exquisite, charming and alborohgh little book and would heartily recommend.

He travels and adventures around the jungle in search of hugs from all types of different animals, however, he notices that each animal he meets already has someone to hug. My son is pre-verbal and this book is perfect for pointing and grunting. Sep 10, Karen rated it really liked it. We were amazed when, at 8 months, she started pointing to the pictures and getting excited each time she saw baby monkey Bobo. But I think that kindergarten is a good last age to read it, because it introduces basic communication skills and very beginner level reading to alblrough. From the tiniest children to the most esteemed elders, everyone is simply enchanted.
